Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the public LitBuy website is designed to work as a static shopping guide. The core website content is served from static files and does not require a database, D1, KV, Click Records table, IP tracking system or server-side Express application. Product examples, route notes, trust pages and support guidance are read from local project configuration and static files.

LitBuy may link to external marketplaces, communities, agents or third-party resources. Those external services can use their own cookies, analytics, checkout flows, accounts and privacy policies. Users should review third-party terms before submitting payment, personal information, shipping addresses or order details outside LitBuy.

What data does the static site need?

The static LitBuy interface can display guides, categories, products and policy content without requiring users to create an account. Local search interactions can run in the browser. Newsletter-style form text in the static interface does not create a database record unless a future external email service is explicitly connected and disclosed.

Because the site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, standard network requests may be processed by Cloudflare for delivery, security and performance. LitBuy also includes Google Analytics through Google tag `G-PQGMG01KWD` to measure aggregate site usage. Analytics data should be treated according to Google's own policies and the user's browser or consent controls where applicable.

What third-party links can collect?

External marketplaces, agents, carriers, community platforms and payment providers may collect account data, cookies, shipping addresses, payment details, tracking information or checkout behavior. LitBuy does not control those systems. A user who leaves LitBuy should review the destination site's privacy policy before submitting sensitive information.

How does LitBuy limit tracking?

LitBuy does not implement Click Records, IP-based click filtering or a custom user-tracking database for the core website. Static pages are designed to be deployable to Cloudflare Workers and Pages without persistent application storage. This reduces operational complexity and avoids collecting data that the site does not need for its public content experience.

Analytics is limited to aggregate site measurement through Google tag. Users can manage browser privacy settings, extensions and account-level Google controls. LitBuy does not use analytics data to create individual shopping profiles inside the static project.

Review evidence and update process

The LitBuy Editorial Team reviews marketplace guidance against buyer-facing tasks: checking original seller URLs, comparing QC photo evidence, identifying size and material questions, noting route restrictions and separating buyer-verifiable facts from seller, agent, carrier and customs decisions. Updates are made when category guidance, warehouse steps, shipping route notes, privacy posture or buyer-risk language changes. Shoppers should keep product links, order screenshots, QC photos, measurements, parcel weights and tracking records until delivery is complete.
